Policies, Terms & Conditions
Privacy Policy
We respect your privacy. We do not
sell, rent, or loan any identifiable information regarding our customers to any
third party. Any information you give us is held with the utmost care and
security, and will not be used in ways to which you have not consented.
Order Shipping
We ship via UPS to
customers in the
Availability
We will make every
effort to assure that your order is shipped in a timely manner. However, some
products offered, may be temporarily out of stock. Also, some orders may be
shipped directly from the manufacturer to you. In any event, you will be
advised by email or telephone as when to expect shipment. Please do not
hesitate to call if you have any questions.
Payment
Hardware Warranty
Carpenter’s Time Systems
warrants most equipment to be free from material defect for a period of 1 (one)
year from the date of shipment to the customer. All other equipment,
attachments, accessories, parts, or supplies are covered for a period of 90
(ninety) days from shipment date to customer. This warranty is limited to
repair or replacement of the covered item at the sole discretion of Carpenter’s
Time Systems. Parts or items replaced will become the sole property of
Carpenter’s Time Systems. No other warranties are expressed or implied,
including, but not limited to, any implied warranties of merchantability or
fitness for a particular purpose. Carpenter’s Time Systems shall not be held
responsible for any consequential damages or losses arising from the use of the
product. Covered item must be returned to Carpenter’s Time Systems insured and freight prepaid for repair or replacement. Warranty applies only to
those items purchased by the customer from Carpenter’s Time Systems. An RMA
number should be obtained prior to returning any item. Use our RMA# Request Form for all product
returns.
Some equipment may state a
longer or shorter warranty period on an item by item basis. In these cases, the
offered warranty period will take precedence over the period stated herein.
Telephone Support
Telephone support
regarding the installation, application, programming, and use of the Software
Based products is currently charged at an hourly rate of $75.00 per hour.
Annual Support Agreements that covers System Phone Support (help desk) and
Software Updates released by the manufacturer are also available. This offers
you a flat annual fee that can be budgeted for system support.
Returning Product Items

There
is a 30 (thirty) day period from shipping date, allowed for Product Returns.
All returns are subject to a 25% restocking charge. Products must be
returned in the Original Box, in New Condition, with all packing materials and
documentation. RMA is required for all product returns. (see below)

No
returns will be accepted after 30 days.

Special
items such as custom printing, programming, used time cards or badges, labor
performed, and freight charges are non-refundable.

Software
upgrades where an upgrade code has been issued, or software returned without the
"system key" are non-refundable.

Discounts
offered thru package pricing, or other discounts offered, shall be considered
when credit is computed for returned items purchased that were part of the discount
offer.

Returned
goods will not be accepted without a valid RMA (Return Material Authorization)
number issued by Carpenter’s Time Systems. .
Use our RMA# Request Form for all product returns. Items must be shipped insured and freight
prepaid to our address.
Damaged Product Items
For products damaged in-transit,
Claims should be made immediately with the applicable freight carrier. UPS can
be reached at 1-800-PICK UPS or 1-800-742-5877 or by email at customer.service@ups.com. FedEx can

Backorders or Delays
We will ship in-stock merchandise
immediately and backordered items as they become available. You will only be
charged for items when they are shipped, and you will only pay a portion of the
total shipping and handling charge. The remainder of your order, including
shipping, will be charged when your backordered merchandise is sent.
